Terms of Service

OK or NOK (“the App”) is operated by Made by ACG (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using OK or NOK, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • If you are between 13 and 18, you have parental or guardian consent.
  • You agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Account Registration

  • You may create an account using email/password, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information during registration.
  • One person may maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. The Service

OK or NOK is a social party game where players vote on controversial statements and compare opinions in real-time rooms.

3.1 Free Features

  • Access to selected question decks
  • Local (pass-the-phone) gameplay
  • Up to 3 online room sessions
  • Game summary and share cards

3.2 Premium Features

With a Premium subscription, you additionally receive:

  • Access to all question decks (including 18+ content, subject to age verification)
  • Unlimited online room sessions
  • Full game statistics
  • Enhanced share card customization

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Pricing

Premium is available as a weekly, monthly, or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Current pricing is displayed in the App and may vary by region.

4.2 Auto-Renewal

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your Apple ID or Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price.
  • Renewal prices may change. We will notify you in advance of any price increases, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

4.3 Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4.4 Managing and Cancelling

  • iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > OK or NOK
  • Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > OK or NOK

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Premium features until then.

4.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Content and Conduct

5.1 Game Content

  • The App contains pre-written question decks with varying levels of intensity: from lighthearted to adult-themed.
  • Adult content (18+) is gated behind an age verification prompt. By confirming you are 18 or older, you acknowledge the content may include explicit language, sexual themes, and provocative topics.
  • All game content is created by Made by ACG. There is no user-generated content system.

5.2 Multiplayer Rooms

  • Rooms are created via unique 6-digit codes shared privately between players.
  • There is no public room discovery, chat, or messaging functionality.
  • You are responsible for sharing room codes only with people you intend to play with.

5.3 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
  • Interfere with the App's infrastructure, including API abuse or denial-of-service
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your age
  • Use automation, bots, or scripts to interact with the App
  • Circumvent subscription restrictions or premium access controls

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content, designs, trademarks, code, and game mechanics in OK or NOK are the intellectual property of Made by ACG.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Game summary share cards generated by the App may be shared on social media for personal use.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App or its content without our written permission.

7. Account Deletion

  • You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account.
  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.
  • Deletion removes your profile, game history, avatar, and associated data from our servers.
  • Active subscriptions are not automatically cancelled when you delete your account. You must cancel your subscription separately via the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account.
  • Certain data may be retained by third-party payment processors (Apple, Google, RevenueCat) as required by law.

8. Disclaimers

  • The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the App.
  • Game content reflects hypothetical scenarios intended for entertainment. It does not constitute advice of any kind.
  • We are not responsible for any actions, decisions, or consequences arising from gameplay or game content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Made by ACG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
  • These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Made by ACG, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or by updating the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
  • If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
  • Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights under the laws of your jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
